These terms govern your use of the CampLink app, provided by Procolo Ivan Borrino (contact: support@getcamplink.com). By creating an account or using the app you accept them. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
CampLink helps people travelling by van, camper, tent or car find spots, plan trips and stay safe on the road. The service is currently free. We may introduce paid features in the future. We will tell you in the app before doing so, and nothing will ever be charged without your explicit purchase.
Zero tolerance. CampLink does not tolerate objectionable or abusive content, nor users who post it. Violations lead to removal of the content and, in serious or repeated cases, closure of the account.
When you publish spots, ratings, comments or photos, you agree not to publish:
Moderation. New spots are reviewed before they are published. Any content can be reported from the app, and you can block a user so you no longer see their content. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content that breaks these rules.
Licence. Content you publish remains yours. You grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display it, adapt its format and distribute it within CampLink for as long as it stays published. You confirm you have the rights to publish it.
Spots, protected areas and parking bans, slopes, weather, network coverage, routes and road limits, and nearby emergency services come from public sources (such as OpenStreetMap and public administration data), automatic estimates and user contributions. They may therefore be incomplete, out of date or wrong.
CampLink uses data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL), and services from Mapbox and Open-Meteo, each under its own terms.
You may not use CampLink to bulk-extract data, bypass security measures, overload the service, reverse-engineer the app or for any unlawful purpose.
The service is provided free of charge "as is". We do our best to keep it working well, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free, or that the data is always accurate. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from the use of information in the app. This does not limit liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor any rights consumers have under the law.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, notifying you when possible. You can stop using CampLink and delete your account whenever you want.
If you use CampLink on iOS, these terms are an agreement between you and Procolo Ivan Borrino, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. The Apple Standard EULA also applies, and these terms add to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
If you use CampLink on Android, these terms are an agreement between you and Procolo Ivan Borrino, not Google. Google is not responsible for the app or its content. The Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
We may update these terms. We will notify you in the app of important changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after they take effect means you accept them.
Italian law applies. For consumers, the competent court is that of the consumer's place of residence or domicile. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence still apply.
